The HKBU Fact Check is organising a preconference at the IAMCR 2024 conference on the theme, “Navigating Truth: Progress and Prospects of Fact-Checking and Media Literacy”. The preconference creates a forum for the exploration of the evolving landscape of information in a digital age, where the lines between truth and falsehood are often blurred as well as the exposition of the role that media literacy plays in navigating the complex terrain of (mis/dis) information.
