The School of Communication is co-organizing a joint ICA 2024 preconference on strategic communication, themed “Impacts of Strategic Communication in an Interconnected World”. The event will explore discourses on how strategic communication creates social change and analyse its impact across organizational, social, cultural, political, and economic settings. This collaboration provides a unique opportunity to engage in intellectual discussions, debates, and network with scholars from the Greater China region (mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan) as well as the Asia Pacific region. The event will be hosted by University of Technology, Sydney on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th June 2024. Papers presented at this preconference will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Communication Management (JCM).
